The Group Coaching has significantly boosted my overall preparation performance, and I’ve gained a network of like-minded professionals. They’ve been a game-changer for my career and leadership skills; I can’t thank Rebekah enough for her direction.
Ari, Admissions Manager
Working with Rebekah changed how I see myself as an applicant and an individual. Rebekah pushed me to take up space I did not think belonged to me, helped me find a writing voice I actually trust, and guided me through a process that felt genuinely tailored to who I am and my aspirations. I applied to three highly competitive graduate public policy programs and was admitted to all three: Harvard Kennedy School, the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, and Georgetown McCourt School of Public Policy. Beyond these options, I took away a different relationship to my own story and real confidence in my ability to walk into rooms I once thought were not meant for me. The work we did together shaped not only where I am going, but how I intend to show up when I get there.
Tiffany, Harvard Graduate School
As a 1-year transfer student, I entered the admissions process with a lot of doubt and uncertainty, but Ms. Shubin instilled confidence in me through her detailed feedback and support. She stayed up late to fit my schedule and help me perfect my essays, staying patient even when I didn’t incorporate her advice on my first try. I felt like with every iteration, I became more and more confident in my application. Ms. Shubin made sure our final product was something we were proud of, and I can say I was proud of what she helped me submit to all the colleges. To me, Ms. Shubin helped forge an application that captured my authentic voice while showing colleges what I could bring to their campuses. Our efforts resulted in my getting into every campus that I applied to and led to my commitment to UC Berkeley Data Science!
Yossi- Data Science Major, UC Berkeley
Working with Ms. Rebekah was such a blessing for me. I was able to apply to so many colleges and get into schools I wouldn’t have thought I had a chance at, and I got into my dream university with a scholarship on top of that. She truly cares about the process and about the student she works with, not only on an academic level but on a personal level. She truly elevates the student and pushes them not only to become a better student but also a better writer and person after the process. I truly wouldn’t recommend anyone else to help your child with the college admissions process and with preparation to apply to college.
Rebekah Shubin turned an anxiety ridden process into one of the most beneficial feats of my adolescence. Her expertise, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment led to an application that I could be truly proud of and confident in. When I was feeling hurt after rejection, she reminded me to redirect my focus towards the next and to never give up hope. Ms. Shubin is a game changer in this application process, and we could not have asked (or probably found) anyone better!
